The best time to visit Ban Gioc Waterfalls
Ban Gioc Waterfall is open all year round, as the landscape changes with the seasons. In spring, the fiery red flowers are in full bloom. In autumn, the surroundings turn into a golden carpet. In summer, the waters become stronger and more violent, while in winter, they fall slowly.
The best time to capture the spectacular landscapes of the torrents of Ban Gioc is the rainy season between June and October. This is undoubtedly the ideal time to admire the springs and the impeccable falls sometimes made dazzling by an autumn rainbow. During the dry season, especially from September to October, the waterfall is much quieter and more impressive than ever.

The waterfalls fall on a series of terraces formed by limestone rock ledges, in a landscape of totally magical greenery and flow into natural pools with turquoise water. When the sun shines, the spray combined with the sun’s rays create magnificent rainbows.
