Phu Quoc is a beautiful archipelago located off the coast of Cambodia (about 4 km), at the end of the Gulf of Thailand, in the province of Kien Giang. In the country’s southern sea, Ngoc Phu Quoc Island is the main island of its archipelago (which has 22) and is the largest in Vietnam.

It’s known for its white-sand beaches and resorts, many of them located on the palm-lined southwestern coastline.

More than half of the island is part of the Phu Quoc National Park, which includes mountains, dense rainforest, hiking trails and a variety of wildlife.

With temperatures that rarely dip below 25°C, any time of year is a good time to visit Phu Quoc Island. The busiest period for tourists is from April to September. However, the dry season (October to April) is the best time to explore the island.

The average annual temperature is only about 28°C. The maximum temperature is on average 30°C over the year (29°C in January to 31°C in May).

The sea temperature is suitable for swimming all year round.
