Located in the far northeast of Vietnam, the northern province of Ha Giang, bordering China (275 km long border with Yunnan province, southern China) is an off-the-beaten-track destination with breathtaking.
Ha Giang is one of the poorest provinces in Vietnam due to its mountainous topography and lack of potential for agricultural development. However, in recent years, the economic situation has been improving thanks to the development of tourism.
