WO IS LA Team Rigal ?

La Team RIGAL is our family : Jimmy (Papa Geek), Agnès (Maman Manager), Mathieu (Ouragan) et Clément (Tsunami).

After several trips to Vietnam (Papa Geek’s country of origin, very far away, but still in the genes), we decided to try the adventure of expatriation. And it is quite naturally that we put our suitcases in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam.

So we left France at the end of December 2019, with our 2 boys (Mathieu and Clément), 150 kg of luggage and our 3 cats. And as a bonus, grandma, who was flying for the first time (she will stay with us for 18 months).

It was not easy because the covid-19 health crisis took us by surprise. But we held on and after two years, we are still so happy to live here in Vietnam. We are beginning to take our bearings and our habits. We learn to understand, day after day, the Asian culture which is, it must be said, at the antipodes of our Western culture but it is very enriching for the whole family.

The health crisis has reset many counters to zero and at the dawn of the half-century, we are leaving for a new human, family and professional adventure. Indeed, in the minds of our relatives, after several trips to Vietnam, we have become, despite ourselves, references in terms of travel organization. And as we had the audacity to realize our dream by going to live on the other side of the world, they consider us as experts, and pushed us into this new path of travel organization.

Being a moderator in two large French-speaking groups on Vietnam on social networks, I was increasingly solicited, taking more and more time to respond precisely to various questions. So I thought maybe it was time to make it my main professional activity.

So the idea of becoming a “travel coach” became more and more concrete in my little head. And why not, after all ? Because what motivates me is above all sharing, authenticity and respect for the indigenous populations.

The advantage is that we live locally and we test all the places we recommend. That we have local partners to concoct YOUR tailor-made tour. In addition, we will meet you on site if you arrive by Hanoi (where we live) if you wish, or if necessary.
